Legs 11!

Hey Dolly Girls...

It's been a busy, busy week for me! I've recently joined the Independent Fashion Bloggers site (which is all very exciting) and there have been lots of fun things happening at work too...

But, all work and no play makes Holly a Dull Dolly - so I managed to make it out for a few drinky poos on Friday night!

I wanted to keep my outfit simple but 'funk' it up with a daring pair of over the knee stockings and loads of jewellery...

I love these Black Striped Stockings from one of my fave sites for accessories - Girlynightout  I think they'll look just as good with a pair of denim shorts or sticking out over a pair of boots!

At a petite 5 ft 3, I'm quite pleased with the 'leg lengthening' effect of the stripes!! :-)

My other top tip for gaining a little extra height?! HEELS! They're a short girls best friend....

Tiny Little Treats. . . .

Hello Dolly Girls!

Don't you just hate it when you plan an outfit, but when you actually put it on you find it's missing a little something?! That it needs a little pizazz?!

That's why I think I've turned into a little Magpie recently! I just can't resist anything that sparkles, glistens, jangles and shines! In fact, I think I've got a problem...

I always find that when you have gorgeous jewellery like this, sometimes it gets lost in your outfit. The detail is so tiny you almost need an arrow pointing to them saying:

"Look at me! I'm Perfect!!"

A good way to draw attention to beautiful jewellery is to layer it up - the more the merrier!

These bracelets add a tiny touch of colour to any outfit without clashing with each other. The trick is to pick similar styles and colour tones:

Don't be afraid to mix expensive jewellery with other 'costume' jewellery, it can still look amazing.
