Happy Bonfire Night! YESSS!!
We had a conversation at work the other day that started with one of the girls saying "Ergh, I hate Winter clothes! I hate all the layers and fur... It's SO much easier to get ready in Summer"
Straight away I was all like, "Noooo!?!" I LOVE Autumn. Especially this time of year when it's Bonfire night! Maybe it's because I have a December Birthday? I'm not sure. But I LOVE everything that happens in the run up to Christmas... From Birthdays, Sparkly dresses and Bonfire Night, to Mulled Wine, Hot Chocolate and big roast dinners!
A few weeks ago, I attended a "Summer Sundown" Party hosted by Cotton Traders where we celebrated the end of a hot, muggy Summer and the start of a snuggly, cosy Winter! When I left the event I was given the cutest set of Winter Warmers, including Hot Chocolate, Snuggly socks and a Hot Water Bottle (as seen here) - such a cute gift for Crimbo!
This is one of my fave kind of outfits to snuggle up in when having a cosy night in! Big socks, a baggy tee and shorts. Normally I throw a big dressing gown over the top and cuddle up :-) This tee is from our new PJ range online at Rock On Ruby. The quote is so appropriate for me as I could literally sleep all day if I was allowed...
