Too Much Information...

Happy New Year!!!!! Hope you've all had lovely Christmases and a festive holiday...


I've been kindly nominated for the TMI (Too Much Information) tag by Lauren - blogger over at Fashion Panic! And what better time of year to do a "Behind the blog recap" than now! So, for anyone who's interested, or wants to kill 5 minutes, here's 50 fun facts about yours truly:


1: What are you wearing
My Fleecey Christmas PJ's (Not just for Christmas) and it is 9pm on a Sunday night.

2: Ever been in love?
Yes, I'd like to think I'm in love with my fiancé! We got engaged just before Christmas so the term is very new to us and still makes me cringe a bit... (Think we'll stick with boyfriend for now!!)

3: Ever had a terrible breakup?
Not a terrible break up. But I suppose every break up is a bit rubbish at the time!

4: How tall are you?
5ft 3" - I'm teeny!

5: How much do you weigh?
No idea!

6: Any tattoos?
No. However my boyfriend (see above!) and I do have a Bucket List and we are contemplating putting tattoos on there... if we don't tell our mums. And keep them hidden all our lives.

7: Any piercings?
5 in my ears! Although I'm pretty sad that the one on the top of my ear healed over :-( I might have to get this done again.

8: OTP?
What the?? Ok, I just had to google what this is... My One True Pairing would be Blair and Chuck in Gossip Girl. (Have I answered this right!?)

9: Favourite show?
This is too hard. I can't pick one... But Gossip Girl, Vampire Diaries are awesome, and Modern Family cracks me up!

10: Favourite bands?
Mumford and Sons. Florence and The Machine (is that a band?) Alabama Shakes.

11: Something you miss?
Christmas as a child! Oooh so magical!

12: Favorite song?
Anything by Tom Odell. (That's not the name of the song, I mean, literally anything sang by him!)

13: How old are you?
30. I just turned 30 before Christmas and I was a bit worried about it as this seems ancient in the Bloggersphere. But actually, now it's happened, I'm loving it!!!

14: Zodiac sign?
Sagittarius - which according to the Urban Dictionary:

Sagittarians are often highly intelligent, adventurous and curious. They are cultural and often have a keen eye for fashion and trends. they are pretty clumsy and can seem blunt and insensitive at times, but really they are just speaking the truth, and are often very thoughtful and philosophical.

15: Quality you look for in a partner?
Humour, Ambition (not sure if that is the right word, just someone who has a bit of "get up and go") and similar morals etc.

16: Favourite Quote?
"Without challenge there is no achievement"

17: Favourite actor?
Tom Hanks. He is seriously awesome and made me cry at the end of Captain Phillips.

18: Favourite colour?
Blue.

19: Loud music or soft?
Well, I'd like to think that I like a party tune as much as the next gal... However, we put my playlist on at work one day and the girls complained that it was too depressing. Which I think is not very fair to Tom Odell :-/

20: Where do you go when you’re sad?
To the sofa with a bottle of wine!!

21: How long does it take you to shower?
10/15mins? I always used to get shouted at for taking too long in the shower as a teen. But I never used to want to get out because then I'd be cold and wet!

22: How long does it take you to get ready in the morning?
I can wake up and be ready to leave the house in about half an hour. I'm not a morning person so the longer I get to stay in bed, the better :-)

23: Ever been in a physical fight?
As if!

24: Turn on?
Humour

25: Turn off?People chewing gum! Seriously, I would ban it if I could.

26: The reason I Started A Blog
I started focusing on it properly as I was looking at a lot of blogs at work and thought it looked like fun! I also thought it would be a good way to showcase some of our products in a natural environment.

27: Fears?
Spiders. Failure.

28: Last thing that made you cry?
Probably something I watched on TV or a film...I always get sucked in!

29: Last time you said you loved someone?
I never go to bed without telling or texting my BF to say I Love You! (Cringe Haha!)

30: Meaning behind your Blog Name?
It was to fit alongside work - Rock On Ruby Clothing. Check us out!

Insurgent - I really need to finish the set!

32: The book you’re currently reading?
I'm currently reading Love x Style x Life by Garance Dore

War and Peace - it's just started!!

My dad. He just asked me if I want a cup of tea. (I do).

35: The relationship between you and the person you last texted?
My boyfriend / fiance dude.

36: Favourite food?
My Nannas Sunday Roast or curry and rice - YUM.

37: Place you want to visit?
EVERYWHERE!!! I'd like to go to Peru and do the Machu Picchu trail. And also see more of America / Canada.

38: Last place you were?
Iceland before Christmas - it was uh-maaaaazing!!!

39: Do you have a crush?
Yes. Daniel Craig. Or to be more precise, James Bond!?

40: Last time you kissed someone?
I kissed my friend Steph goodbye today!

41: Last time you were insulted?
During a ruthless game of Star Wars Monopoly with the family over Christmas! (I probably deserved it!!)

42: Favourite flavour of sweet?
Strawberry I guess?

43: What instruments do you play??
None. I have zero patience for that unfortunately!

44: Favourite piece of jewellery?
The beautiful diamond that my BF proposed to me with <3 

45: Last sport you played?
Erm, I played Skittles with my 3 year old nephew over the Christmas Holidays... Does that count!?

46: Last song you sang?
I was screeching Beyonce in the car on the way home today!

47: Favorite chat up line?
Do you know what my shirt is made of...

48: Have you ever used it?
NEVER.

49: Last time you hung out with anyone?
I met up with 2 uni pals today and it was fab. One friend (Guido) lives in America, but my friend Steph and I always make an effort to meet up with him when he's home - he's a good laugh! Not that we'd ever tell him that to his face. #Bants
