After Dark - Fashion Event of THE Year!

So! As I mentioned in last weeks post - I was invited to the Manchester Arndale After Dark event. And it was insaaaane! The aim of the event was to showcase some of the gorgeous party dresses available in the Arndale. Each of us Fbloggers was sent out on a mission to scour the shops and pick our fave party pieces. And here's what happened...

The dresses were judged by actual Victoria from In The Frow!

Pieces from across the Arndale were on display on the night and I immediately recognised this sparkly number from my All Saints shopping trip... (reunited again, my love!!)

Each girl was treated to a mini make over to make sure we were looking appropriately glam. Fellow Bloggers Gail from The Equinox Fashion and Hayleigh, get done up... I was next!

Checking out The competition! These beaut bloggers rocked their party dresses!  From Left, Michelle from What Shell Says in Georgie from She Dreams in Lipsy and Katie from The Quick Red Fox in TK Maxx.

Team All Saints! Woop Woop! It was so nice to catch up with the guys who work with All Saints day in and day out. The gang said that they had come straight from work, but in true 'Saints' style, they looked HOT.

Waiting for our close ups... Each blogger got the chance to sell their dress to the judges in front of the MA Glam Cam and pose up a storm!

Also their to capture our looks in all their glory was the amazingly talented Dom and Ink. Do you recognise any of the bloggers on display?!

Here's my look from the night... My gorgeous Tonya Lew Dress from All Saints was 100% silk and felt amazing. The shape was simple yet cool and I can't wait to wear this again and again.

The dresses were all judged on the night and mine got picked for the Top Ten! Woohoo! If you like this dress too, head over to the Manchester Arndale site to vote for your favourite look and you could win £100 to spend in store. AMAZING!!

Which dress is your fave?

All Saints - After Dark

So, as I mentioned, I am super lucky to be taking part in the #MAAfterDark fashion event at Manchester's Arndale Centre. My mission (which I  obvs chose to accept!) was to pick a beaut dress for the party season! So with some help from manager Frazer, I got to it....

This whole, fabulous, sparkly section is All Saints latest range - perfect for A/W. Silks, beads and dark wintery shades... Utterly gorgeous. (And my OOTD co-ordinates perfectly, dontcha think!?)

Hmm, got slightly sidetracked by the gorge leather boots and bags on display...

I couldn't resist trying on the Elixir dress! Covered in beads and with delicate straps, this gorge dress just screamed "try me on!!"

In the midst of all the muted burgundy, greys and blacks, this pure white, silk dress, really caught my eye. It's minimalist but could easily be dressed up or down. LOVE.

This UNBELIEVABLE beaded top practically had to be prised off me so that I could leave the store... It is so, so stunning. Even at £188 it's worth every penny! The cut fit perfectly and the heavy embellishment made a style statement without looking OTT. Unfortunately, this top didn't fit in with our challenge budget or style (being neither £100 or a dress..) but I had to show you all of it's beaded glory :-)

Trying on nearly everything in the store - well, why not?

Goodbye beautiful top... Sob!

So... somewhere amongst these beauties is the dress that I have chosen for the event tonight! My party dress will be revealed on Monday, so watch this space!

Manchester Arndale - After Dark

So, just imagine in a Dream World, that one day you get given £100 to go shopping and pick your perfect Dress for the Party Season. How cool would that be? Then imagine that the shop that you can pick your dress from is All Saints. Wouldn't that be frickin' AWESOME? Well.... this just happened to me!! :-O

Yup, I was recently contacted by the PR team at Manchester Arndale and invited to participate in their After Dark event this Thursday.

The aim of the event: Around 20 of Manchester's finest Fashion Bloggers have been challenged with picking out THE perfect party dress. Each girl has been assigned a retailer in the Arndale Shopping Centre and given £100 to spend on their party outfit.

I'm SO excited that my chosen retailer is All Saints, they have such understated, stylish pieces. The materials and shapes are so luxe.

What next?
This Thursday, we'll be revealing our dress of choice to a panel of judges and the Top Ten dresses will go on display in the Arndale.

What's in it for you?? You can vote for your fave dress and you will get the chance to win it!! So watch this space...

Follow all the action from the event by searching for #MAAfterDark on Instagram and Twitter.

Which of these All Saints dresses is your fave?!

Look Sparklingly Hot this Summer

Summer is Here.... and wow do I love All Saints new 'Look Book'!

Not one to follow the usual high street trends of colour blocking and cropped tops (which I do also enjoy!) All Saints have taken their usual grungy-glam look to another level this Summer:

Aztec Vest - £150, Lourdes Kick Jeans - £75 at All Saints

They were the brand that 'kick-started' the trend to wear chunky work boots and it looks like these are set to stay for another season! (Hurray!)

I love the combination of the delicate sequin vest with the chunky boots.

Check out All Saints range of gorgeous sparkly dresses and skirt, guaranteed to look gorgeous on holiday!

Aztec Dress - £295, Aztec Skirt - £165 Paloma Dress - £295 at All Saints

But unfortunately a beautiful item from this range will probably be more expensive than your Ryan Air flights abroad...!!

So if you're looking for a cheap, tribal fix, then head over to Topshop ASAP because this funky little aztec print vest top has just hit their Summer Sale!

Aztec Printed Cami reduced from £24 to £12 at Topshop

ASOS also have a few tribal numbers on their site and if you like the pastel prints of All Saints then you'll probably like this too:

Aztec Feather Vest - £18 on ASOS

Fab with denim shorts and a straw trilby hat!

And if you want to recreate that All Saints glamour, why not add your own sequins? Head to Ebay for your bargain beads!

Happy Daydreaming.......... xx
