Last weekend as you know, I was down in the big city for the Fashionchick Blogger Network Launch Party. FYI, Fashionchick is really awesome as you can shop a whole range of brands on the one site, but as well as this, they have amazing competitions, style tips and blogger inspo. So obvs, I was well chuffed to be asked to be involved 'cause I am always on their site anyway.
So I'll be posting some pics from the event soon, but in the meanwhile, I HAD to blog about some of the gorge pieces that I picked up from the event… Like this WHOLE entire outfit! I've styled this dress from Day to night to show you how versatile it is.
OOTD: Khaki Tropical Shift Dress and Blue Suedette Clutch bag, Dorothy Perkins*
Accessories: Watch: Michael Kors, Rings: Swarovski and Guess
Sunglasses: Asos
And last but not least, the SHOES. Yes, these beauts are gorgeous with a chunky, block heel and metallic strap! I am giving you the chance to WIN a gift card for the store that these are from if you can guess it correctly… Just read below to find out how to enter!
I thought this silver, vine leaf ear cuff would be perfect to complete the look - it's not too OTT but compliments the dress amazingly. Tuck your hair behind your ear and make a style statement! This cuff is from Freedom at Topshop* and they also do it in gold!
By Day
I have so much love for this dress, I wanted to show how it could easily be worn for a casual day time look too. Of course, my trusty leather jacket and blogger hat (both Topshop!) are style staples, but I wanted to funk up the look with these red, lace up Primark shoes and a gorge Follie di fiori necklace from Folli Follie*
When worn without a belt, the dress is left hanging loose which is super comfy! As it's quite lightweight, you could easily throw this on over a bikini on holiday and it probably wouldn't crease too badly in your case either!
Which look do you prefer? Day or Night?!
I'd also wear this loose over a pair of ripped jeans with pumps and you could even tuck it into a high wasted, midi length skirt.
COMPETITION TIME!!
Take a good look at the beautiful bronze and black heels that I'm wearing above… They are from a well know high street retailer!
To Enter: Follow me on Bloglovin' and Comment below with the shop name that you think these are from. If you guess correctly you could win £25 to spend at that store! A winner will be picked at random from all the correct entries and will be announced on Thursday 30th April. Good Luck!
Wow Holly you look incredible!! I love the dress both dressed up and down. I think it would look fab with a midi skirt too. I also love the leaf earring, so unique but gorge!!
