God, I LOVE Spring. It's that perfect time of year, right before it gets to too sweaty to be in the office, my hayfever hasn't kicked in yet, and there are daffodils everywhere! Plus the EASTER eggs?? How have I never had a white chocolate Easter Egg before? Thanks to Nanna (and Lindt chocolate) for that beauty.
Every Bank Holiday, my mum makes a point of getting us all outdoors away from our computers, phones and ipads and making us get some FRESH AIR. Not that I'm complaining (although there are only so many times I can take "Ooooh, Look at the views!!!" - when I AM!!!) This weekend, I did make a real effort not to check any work emails or messages, and really switch off.
We headed to a local reservoir / sailing club for a leisurely stroll (and to take in the views). It was so gorgeous to see people out on the water!

One of my fave things to do to unwind, is stick on some music and just CHILL. As you'll have probably seen from some of my music recommendations, I do like a bit of "easy listening"! Mumford and Sons, Florence, Ben Howard and the like, are right up my street. Which brings me to the next addition to my OOTD...
These Bassbud earphones* are UNREAL. I have to admit, at first I was just drawn to them by the zingy colours (how fab is the metallic red??) and the swarovski detail (bling bling!) But actually, I haven't stopped raving about these to my dad (who's a bit of a tecchie whiz).
The sound quality is so clear, and when you are wearing them they really do block out all external noise. (Look at the what now, mum?!) The aim behind bassbuds was to fuse style with sound and that really is what you get...
Have you ever heard of or tried Bassbuds? Mine are the Classic Red Headphones. But you can pick a colour to suit your style! Have a peek on their site and let me know which colour is your fave!
What do you do to unwind?
