Last week I given an exclusive chance to go behind the scenes on Manchester Arndale's Spring Summer video shoot. The team along with creative agency, Refinery, were working on putting together an advert to showcase the centre's hottest pieces for the upcoming season. The video was shot at the amazing Space Project in Manchester and the aim was to feature 5 unique and show stopping looks:
- Khaki
- Pastels
- Sports Luxe
- 70s
- Florals
These are THE upcoming trends that will be on sale this Spring Summer on the high street. The Manchester Arndale team browsed our fave stores and picked out some key pieces that you will definitely want to have in your wardrobe!
It was so good to go on set and see how the video was put together. The staging was set around really cool lighting, with model Caroline and the clothes themselves being the main point of focus. Creative Director Stephen Bagshaw from Refinery gave us the low down on his vision for the shoot...
"Manchester Arndale is at the centre of Manchester, and this is our main focus. We wanted to have only 1 model for the shoot so that she is the centre of attention, and therefore the main focus. When girls see the video they will want to have the same confidence that the model has - and of course the clothes!"
Have a sneak peek below at some of the looks from the shoot before the advert goes live on 30th March...
Look 1: 70s!
Retro styling with a relaxed vibe...
70s Look Number 2...
Look 2: Florals!
Set amongst a rockin' drum kit - march to your own beat in clashing prints and girly fabrics...
Look 3: Sports Luxe!
Lights, Mirrors, Action...
Manchester Arndale is THE shopping destination in Manchester city centre. With so many of our favourite brands under one roof, the team want to show how to style different pieces, from different stores to create totally on trend looks.
In my next post I'll be going into the dressing room at the shoot to show you the trends from the day and the amazing hair & make up!
Which is your favourite look from what you've seen so far?!
