So, Yes Or No? I am definitely a "Yes" person. I am generally open to suggestions and going out, trying new things. At uni it was kind of a running joke between my housemates and I, that I was terrible at saying NO to things and this usually got me (and maybe 1 or 2 of them) caught up in random situations. Whhhy!!!? I have tried to get better at this... Especially as I am always the one saying to my sister, "You need to start saying No to people, you're doing too much!" Perhaps we both have this innate sense of trying to please people, or maybe we just hate letting people down. I think it's maybe because once we're asked to do something, we kind of feel obliged and therefore CAN'T say no? How do you feel about this?!
Anyway, to the outfit! I LOVE this look. It's kinda simple, but at the same time, there's a lot going on?! It's the perfect day-to-night look as the brogues are comfy and practical yet make a statement. And speaking of making a statement, I have never had such a good reaction to a clutch bag as I have with this one!
I took this bag with me on a night out and it literally was the center of drinking games, crazy selfies and conversation starters. Slogan bags are all over the high street at the moment so find one that suits your style!
I LOVE this necklace! It's so "Kylie Jenner" ish. You can wear it as a choker with a hanging cross, or loosen it like I did for more of a relaxed look. Cherry Diva have a huge range of cool (and amazingly affordable) pieces. Little tip: Head to their site and follow them on social media to get 10% off!
Tshirt: Primark, Shirt and Tights: Topshop, Leather Skirt: ASOS, Infinity Cross Necklace: Cherry Diva*, Clutch Bag: Dorothy Perkins* (Gifted at the Fashion Chick event!) Watch: Garmin, Brogues: Zara (Sale Purchase)
*I really wish I had a bright yellow, or deep black nail varnish on with this outfit.... Just an afterthought!
Do you find it easy to say no? What are your tips for a "YES" person like me?!
