I knew this would happen. As soon as I start packing away all the lovely, Summery things that I never got the chance to wear this year (damn British weather!) it decides to warm up...
Is it just me, or is September the new August?
This could lead to a long rant, on global warming... So instead, I'll focus on how this is the perfect weather to complete the Transitional Style Challenge that I was recently set by Bonprix!
The aim was to choose a couple of pieces from their holiday shop and show how these could easily be worked into your wardrobe throughout September. I chose this black, off the shoulder top* as these bardot styles have been really popular over the past few months. The 70s, boho vibes are still going strong as we move into AW15, so this can definitely be worn again and again - why nor try it with flared jeans or tucked into a denim midi skirt?
I spied this yellow print, a-line skirt in River recently and had to have it!! I LOVE the bold print, and FYI, this shape is going to be everywhere this season. I would totally team this with a polo neck jumper and chunky tights as it gets colder.
To make my look very "Alexa", I completed it with these shoes-of-my-dreams from Zara. You can always rely on Zara to give good shoe :-)
Accessories: Bucked Leather Cuff -Reiss via Fashionchick, Watch - Michael Kors, Tan Bag - Topshop (similar), Loafers - Zara (Similar)
How are you coping with the transition from Summer to Autumn?!
Do you feel like you got good wear out of your Summer buys?
