Bonfire Night Make Up...

So, last weekend I headed off into the beaut countryside of Derbyshire for a Autumnal weekend away! It was GORGE. The main reason for my visit was to check out the ah-mazing fireworks at Chatsworth House.

Obviously, my main concern was "what to wear"?! What is proper Bonfire attire? Nobody wants to look scruffy at a Bonfire on a Saturday night, right! So I decided to rock my snuggly, vintage jumper and focus on glam make up instead...

I wanted to keep the base quite neutral and go for sparkly eyes with a statement lip. Here's what I used to create the look!

Make Up Bag: Local Boutique Store, Personalised Towel: Rock On Ruby

These eye shadows from Illamasqua are so, so GORGE. The gold and bronze colours are cream shadows called Solstice and Enrapture. I like to use the gold shade (solstice) on my inside part of my eye and use the bronze (enrapture) at the corners. The finishing touch is this fab glitter powder called Furore - a MUST for any glam eye!

Next! Create a flawless base starting with Smashbox's original primer. This is a miracle worker. Obviously different primers suit different people and this one just seems to sit well on my crazy combo skin! Illamasqua's Skin Base Foundation gives great, long lasting cover which should definitely see you through the night... I touch up any imperfections with Clarins Concealer. This is fab and light weight enough to use under your eyes.

The finishing touches! Take a change from the usual red lips by trying a dark, autumnal pink. One of my faves is this matte pink lip by Mac. It's called Flat Out Fabulous and it really is. the matching pink liner is essential for creating a neat finish. I would also recommend using the Mac lip primer underneath as this lippy can be quite drying.

Et voila! What are you doing for Bonfire Night this week? Will you be going for a snuggly, glam look too?!
