In The Diary: Catwalk Killa

Catwalk Killa Launch Party

Recently I headed over to Lammars in Manchester's Northern Quarter for the launch of a fab new fashion brand called Catwalk Killa. I was really looking forward to this event as the label has actually been set up by one of my blogger-buddies Lauren from Fashion Panic and her friend Vicky.

Now, I'm a bit of a geek, and I love anything fashion & business related... I've read a lot of autobiographies from successful ladies in fashion (think Tamara Mellon and Sophie Amoruso) so I love seeing what new ideas other brands come up with. The girls have done an awesome job setting up and really creating a cool brand identity. I love that if you're scrolling through instagram and spot one of their pics, you instantly know that it's one of theirs!

I really like the range that the girls have pulled together as it includes a mix of pieces for going out and for every day. The
girls really kindly sent me a shirt from their new range - which of course was perfect to wear for their launch!!

I wanted to give this a bit of a vintage feel, so I tied it at the waist and wore it with my amazing new Mom Jeans from Topshop - these are my first pair of Mom jeans and I have literally been living in then since I got them (expect to see these on the blog a LOT!)

What was reeeeally nice about this event was that as it was being thrown by people we knew, the whole atmosphere was really chilled out! It definitely felt more like a launch PARTY rather than a PR event. My sis (Lucy above) and Dom from the amazing Map My Style actually ended up being literally the last ones to leave... Sign of a good night I think!

What do you think of Catwalk Killa's new range?!
