OOTD: Stripes and Horcruxes

One of the things that I love about blogging is that it has actually made me be more brave, or maybe not brave, but more experimental with my outfit choices.

This outfit was actually a happy accident! I was hanging up some of the clothes that I wanted to include on my blog and as is generally the case, I ran out of hangers. (Soooo annoying!!!) I threw this bomber jacket over this stripey dress as a temporary storage method and voilå! A perfectly unexpected outfit combination was created!

As this jacket is quite pattern heavy, you might think that mixing it with another print would be a major no-no. However! This works (in my humble opionion!) as both items have a common colour theme of navy and white.

To keep the look quite casj and urban, I teamed this with (yet again) my trusty, life saving Missguided pumps!

My fave tote from Rock On Ruby was the perfect bag to complete my look!

Pumps: My Missguided Prized pumps
Tote Bag: Rock On Ruby

I LOVE this dress! It's from Topshop petite, and whilst I'm normally a size 8ish, this is actually a size 10 but fits perfectly. So if you do decide to try this, maybe size up!

I've really been enjoying trying out some new lip colours recently! This vibrant pinky purple is a mix of Candy Yum Yum by MAC with a dark purple, Rimmel colour dabbed over the top!

I have to congratulate my photographer mum for these gorgeous photos - they haven't been edited at all, but I love how the light comes through perfectly!

Thanks moooooom!!

What do you think of the combo of the jacket and dress, is this something you would dare to wear?!
