Once reserved for ladies over 50 at Garden Parties, and Liz Hurley, are now a must-have item to have in your Spring/Summer wardrobe. The white-denim trend seemed to have a little resurgent last Summer with the whole ripped-knees thing going on (which I am still loving, FYI). I think they are a great way to freshen up an outfit as the weather turns a bit brighter...
So, what to wear with white jeans that isn't a floral, Liz Hurley-esque blouse?! I added a sleeveless knitted top from River Island to my look - I have had so many compliments on this!! It was a bit of a bargain that I grabbed in the last RI sale, but I have seen some really similar knitted tops in H&M... I like that these are simple, but look quite classic and can easily be dressed up with some chunky jewellery. The colour is a nice grey/blue as well which is unusual. **It's worth noting that I have just lent this top to one of my cousins, so I will probably never see it again... Ergh!** Time to head over to H&M and get a few more colours me thinks!
To complete the look! These AMAZING heels from Topshop! Snakeskin is everywhere at the moment, and although it's not something I would immediately look at and be like "ooh snakeskin" I actually am loving the snakeskin footwear trend at the moment. (I never thought those words would come out of my mouth) Yes really, you only need to head over to Hannah Crosskey's A Fashion Fix blog and you will see why!
