In the Diary: A Glamorous Fashionchick

Fashionchick Meal at Kouzu

Well, what a week! What a MONTH!!

It's true, you never really know what life is going to throw at you next, and this Summer has totally not been what I was expecting... It's been crazy busy! With fashion shows in Amsterdam, Disney themed fancy dress parties and a new website at work, I actually had to have a 3 HOUR nap the other night, just to catch up! (not intentional, but hey ho)

It was REALLY nice to grab a breather this weekend and chill out with my boyfriend. We had a BBQ with the fam, had a classic movie night (Sleeping with the Enemy) then on Sunday, we went for a walk and I got an actual Mr Whippy ice cream, covered in actual mini marshmallows. Living. The. Dream.

In other news! Here's some bloggy stuff I have been up to >>

I headed down to London for a dinner with Fashionchick at Kouzu - a gorgeous Japanese / Sushi restaurant. It's always so good to see my girls from the FC blogger network! There's a group of about 15 of us that have been brought together to work with brands that are on the Fashionchick shopping site. As a result, I have some gorgeous collaborations coming up (first one with New Look this week!) See more of what we got up to in London on the Fashionchick news page.

This weekend Glamorous launched their very first store! Yes, a physical store where you can go and try on the clothes and see what's new, live in the flesh! It was such a cool day... There were cakes and treats, photobooth fun, goody bags, vouchers, and the amazing Key 103 were there blasting out tunes!

If you're in the North West, I'd seriously recommend heading over to the Trafford Centre to see what's new (It's worth a visit just to see gorge fringed backpack above...)

I got PIN crazy at a workshop with Pinterest recently! It was so interesting!! Massive thanks to Lizzie from the team who gave us some amazing tips on how to get the most out of Pinterest. Basically, it is NOT a social media site, it's a "visual, inspirational, search engine" (they probably word it better than I just did...). An essential tool for any blogger!

Three Quick tips from the day >>
1. Forget the Hashtags and Emojis! Pinterest is all abut imagery and descriptive descriptions (yes, you read that right)
2. Turn your account into a Business account to get handy analytics on what are your "most pinned pins"
3. Head to the Business Centre for ANY help and Qs!

Woo! And that's a wrap! This weekend I'm heading back down to London for my friends birthday - it's going to be a Pink themed party! I totally need something new to wear...

Whilst I'm there I want to head over to the Bloggers Market that's being hosted by What Olivia Did and several other London bloggers...

I'll also be taking part in an Insta-Walk with Nica Handbags! Very exciting :-) Let;s hope th weather holds up! Follow me on instagram to see what happens!

What have you been up to this week?
