OOTD: Sports Luxe

Sports Luxe. What even is that? 

For me it's a little glamorous and a little sporty. It's your every-day, fashionable outfit with a sports twist. In all honesty, I wouldn't say I was the sportiest person ever. I go through phases of hitting the gym, or going for runs, but I know I really need to get my game face on!

I love those street style looks of girls that you see on Pinterest where they have on smart tailored trousers with trainers. I want to be that girl! However, I'm not sure I'm cool enough... So here's my take on Sports Luxe!

I've styled up this little black dress from Rock and Rags* as I love the leather trim and mesh inserts - the perfect sports luxe vibe. Rock and Rags is a fashion line created Firetrap that is crazily affordable and seriously cool. I teamed this dress with my black Firetrap pumps*. You may have seen that I have a similar pair of white pumps from Misguided that I am pretty much wearing to death!! So, I knew that this black pair would be perfect coming into A/W - FYI, they're currently on sale for £28!

To complete the look, I added a chunky, black crystal necklace* from Happiness Boutique. This arrived all the way from Germany in a beautiful white box! It was a real treat to receive and would make a great gift for any lover of statement jewellery!

An oversized denim jacket and backpack are SO on trend and SO 80's! You could easily wear this look to a festival :-)

How cool is this jacket?! I got it from Misguided a couple of years ago and thought the sequin, smiley face detail was AWESOME! Obvs, this is now sold out, but I'll link some similar ones below!
